It's a distinct possibility that I'm posting to the site from a couple of different clients. I'm not completely sure which one I like better, but the cheaper one has a couple of nice things that I like. The pricier one has a couple other things that I like... so I'm not sure. But I'm being wonderfully geekerific in my head lately. Did I mention that I'm planing on purchasing a Linksys product with the sole purpose of hacking it, installing a new operating system. .. ... .... my dog is sleeping next to me. I thought it just farted, it's snoring. ...
Anyways, want to get the NSLU2 so that I can create a network based storage system that will not use much power, but I can access from any of my computers. I'm'a need to hack the sucker so that I can set it up with NFS so that the storage will show up as a directory on the computer without having to log in, and I'll be able to set up iTunes to use the network rather than the local harddrive... which will make me happy. And perhaps excited in the bad way. Bad with computers at least.
